Which is better? Why do you think so? And if you want to point out your opinion on certain sprites that aren't Bulbasaur, feel free to do so, but make sure the sprite comparisons are between a Gold/Silver/Crystal and HeartGold/SoulSilver sprite.

Well, as I can point out from the beginning, they look alike, with the HG looking more like a scratched out revamp of the GSC sprite. I actually would say Pt, but that isn't an option. I would have to say HG is better, with there being slightly more color, but I'm not satisfied with the shading at all.

I'm not satisfied with HGSS shading either. And some of the sprites are terrible (THINK ABOUT THE POOR JOLTEON!)...

Well, I actually like Dragonair's sprite best of all of the versions. Even Platinum. And to tel ye the truth, I use plat. for everything.

I use HG/SS for EVERYTHING. But I've turned to Emerald sprites. :/

Yeah. I also think Gyarados should be given a better Frame 2.

They are all remakes of the original sprites from GSC

Simple.

Uhhh, not all of them. If you would look at Dragonair, it is more of a remake of the Pt sprite. Good day, sir.
